BREAKING NEWS: SEVEN ambulance crews and several fire appliances are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision.
The two car crash happened in the past half hour on the Ramelton to Letterkenny road, close to the turn off for Donnelly's garage - less than 1km from the Silver Tassie Hotel.
The crash is on the Ramelton side of the hotel.
Fire crews using cutting equipment are removing people from the vehicles.
It's understood a number of children have been hurt.
Gardai have closed the road and diversions are in place and Letterkenny hospital staff have been placed on standby.
