A MAN has appeared in court in Letterkenny today charged with two counts of criminal damage after an attack on an Orange Hall in Convoy last year.
Eamonn McGill, from Macmeenstown, Convoy, faced charges of criminal damage causing €245,000 worth of damage to Convoy Orange Hall last October.
He was also charged with causing €800 worth of damage to a church on the same day.
He was arrested in Letterkenny this morning.
The court heard he had replied 'not true' to each of the charges when they were put to him earlier today.
Judge Paul Kelly refused bail.
The 31-year-old accused was remanded in custody to appear again at Letterkenny court this Thursday.
A second man has already been charged in connection with the arson attack.
