Donegal County Council has appointed Bryson Recycling to manage and operate the Council owned Recycling Centres following a public procurement process.
Bryson, will operate the centres on the Council’s behalf and have secured a 3 year contract to manage their six sites located at Letterkenny, Milford, Stranorlar, Carndonagh, Laghey and Dungloe from 2nd April onwards.
Bryson plan to make improvements at all sites so local residents can recycle their household waste quickly, safely and easily.
The range of materials being collected will also be increased over the coming months and a leaflet will be sent out to all Donegal households explaining the new arrangements. The leaflet will also explain the benefits of recycling and provide details on where the materials collected at the sites go to be recycled.
The current recycling charge is just €4 per standard car and this will remain in place at all Bryson Recycling Centres
Payment should be made by cash or credit card on arrival, instead of the previously used ticket system (however, tickets previously bought will be honoured).
