3. The announcement that Donegal is to get 15 new Garda vehicles throughout 2015 was widely welcomed and it appears that we will ned every one of them.
4. We learned that mountaineer Jason Black isn't a diva as he takes the Bus Eireann coach to Dublin with all his bags to begin his three month adventure to conquer K2.

6. More than 600 runners and walkers took part in the Glenswilly 5k with many once again exclaiming the event offers the best buns in Donegal! Take a bow those tea ladies.
7. We learned that if you don't succeed, try and try again. Just ask rally driver Manus Kelly.
8. Donegal UFC fighter Joseph Duffy proved he is afraid of nobody after he offered to fight the Notorious Conor McGregor after his original opponent Aldo broke a rib. Go Joe!
9. We found out what will be in the many Donegal GAA fans' Christmas stockings after Jim McGuinness revealed he is to release a book 'Until Victory Always' later in the year.
