The surroundings of Leo’s pub in Meenaleck is the place to be this coming Saturday, July 11th for the annual Jack’s Fair (Aonach Jack).
The organisers are continuing in recent years with the old tradition that was famous at Meenaleck many, many years ago and it’s revival is attracting huge crowds to the area.

This year’s event will see loads of quality stalls featuring crafts of all sorts including wood, jewellery, cards, knitwear and much more.
Some crafters will be exhibiting their skills including Donegal Pens brothers Ronan and Conor Mc Garvey who will demonstrate how they craft their wood pens.
It is also expected there will be some farm animals on site that prove a great attraction for the children.
Activities kick off at 10am and will run until 5pm and even if the weather is not being good then some of the fun will be under cover.
