Castlefin Celtic 5 - Raphoe Town 1
Castlefin Celtic were comprehensive winners against a determined but outclassed Raphoe Town in the Lifford Area final of the Brian McCormick Cup.
Castlefin Celtic went into an early lead through Ronan Tourish with two more goals from Barry Tourish and Peter Bryson leaving them with a comfortable margin at half time.
The second half started well with Raphoe Town continuing to attempt to go forward but the Castlefin Celtic defence stood firm until they gave away a penalty which Raphoe Town scored to give themselves a glimmer of hope.
Unfortunately for Raphoe this didn’t last long as Castlefin Celtic forward JP Malley ran on to a cross to stroke the ball home from 12 yards.
Castlefin captain Ronan Tourish then scored his second, this time from the penalty spot to secure a spot in the Donegal semi-final where they will now play Glenea United.
