Having shown tremendous fighting spirit to take victory against Cloughaneely last weekend, Glenfin showed they weren’t going to just make up the numbers against the much-fancied St. Michael’s this afternoon.
The visitors started without Martin McElhinney who had impressed in last weekend’s big win against Four Masters and they were made to fight all the way against a Glenfin side who saw Kevin McGlynn find the net.
In the end only two points separated the sides after goals from Colm McFadden and Andrew Kelly edged St. Michael’s over the line.
