Phonelines across Donegal are down.
Eircom have reported a major fault which has resulted in many landlines not working.
It is understood that local calls can be made from landlines in Letterkenny.
Businesses are finding the fault very frustrating.
Eircom say they are working to address the fault and will release a statement shortly.
UPDATED: It is now understood that the fault has been corrected and phonelines are now working as normal throughout the county.
