Donegal GAA star Mark McHugh has run the wrath of the soccer fraternity in Ireland by saying he'd rather watch RTE soap Fair City than Martin O'Neill's side in action.
Ireland toiled in the first-half, but a much improved second-half performance ensured a hugely important win over the stubborn Georgians.
The result coupled with Ireland's victory on Friday and Scotland's defeat to both Georgia and Germany sees Ireland in a good position in their quest for qualification for EURO 2016 in France next summer.
Seamus Coleman was outstanding, while Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan were also excellent for O'Neill's side on a tense night in Dublin.
However, Donegal player Mark McHugh was unimpressed and said he'd rather watch Fair City than what was on offer at the Aviva stadium.
McHugh posted the picture highlighted above on his social media account on instagram.
He was also critical on Twitter saying that what was on offer by the GAA over the weekend compared to the Ireland match was night and day and claimed the GAA have the best games in the world.
Last night's match wasn't exactly edge of your seat excitement but either were Dublin's facile wins over Longford, Kildare, Wexford and Fermanagh in the run-up to their clash with Mayo.
In truth bar a couple of matches this season in this writer's opinion the All-Ireland football championship has been poor.
Has McHugh got the blinkers on?
What's your thoughts? Do the GAA have the best games in the world?
