This afternoon, Sunday 7th April, we will have a Eucharistic Liturgy to mark the end of the Divine Mercy Novena which began on Good Friday from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. We welcome everyone to come and join with us to mark the Feast of Divine Mercy, even if you have not done the Novena.

3 O’CLOCK PRAYER

You expired Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls and an ocean of Mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a Fount of Mercy for us, I trust in you.

 

The Divine Mercy Prayer Group in our Parish, meet in the Cathedral or Cathedral Crib Room on a Tuesday evening at 8 pm. Everyone is welcome to come along.

 

The Apostolate of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration will hold its FIRST ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK on Saturday 20th April from 10 am to 5 pm. All Adorers are invited to gather at Knock Shrine in celebration of the Year of Faith. This will be a day of prayer with Mass, Benediction, Blessing of the Sick, Adoration, Eucharistic Procession, Confessions and special Workshops for young people. The Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Charles Bishop will be the chief celebrant. A bus will leave St. Eunan’s Cathedral Car Park at 8.30 am. Tickets for the bus are €20. Booking is essential. The St. Eunan’s GAA Club SUNDAY MORNING FOOTBALL ACADEMY begins today, Sunday 7th April at 11 am in O’Donnell Park for boys and girls from U6, U8 & U10 age groups. New members are always welcome. The Hurling and Camogie Academy for the same age groups gets underway on Friday 12th April at 6.30 pm. A girls only U10 group will begin on Sunday 14th April.

 

LETTERKENNY CARE OF THE AGED ~ A Social for the ‘YOUNG AT HEART CLUB’ will be held in the Social Centre, Oliver Plunkett Road on Tuesday 9th April at 8 pm. This Social will be hosted by Friends of the Day Centre.

 

A 12 WEEK WEIGHT LOSS AND HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAM will begin on Wednesday 10th April at both 10 am and 7 pm in the Pastoral Centre, Letterkenny. For further information and bookings, please call Justin on 9103474.

 

COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION ~ This 6 week course offers participants better ways of dealing with anger/conflict at home, in relationships or at work. It offers the opportunity to understand/explore how to manage anger, recognise what triggers anger and learn a range of techniques to release anger. The course will be held in the Pastoral Centre, Letterkenny beginning Thursday 11th April at 7.30 pm. Facilitator: Kathy O’Connor. Cost: €60. Please call the Pastoral Centre on 9121853.

 

LETTERKENNY ACTIVE RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION ~ Will hold a meeting on Thursday 11th April in the Pastoral Centre at 2.30 pm.

 

DIVINE WILL CENTRE ~ Theme of Retreat: ‘Charity, the Life of the Divine Will’. This is not a basic introductory weekend (12th to 14th April). It presupposes that attendees are practicing Catholics and have a basic knowledge of the Spirituality of the Divine Will as lived by Luisa Piccarreta and St. Hannibal Di Francia.
