*Donegal U21s*

The club would like to wish the Donegal u21 team all the best in their Ulster Championship Final clash against Cavan on Wednesday. Donegal beat the bookies second favourites for the All Ireland, Tyrone, in the first round by a scoreline of 0-15 to 1-6 and followed this up with another 2-11 to 0-15 victory over Derry in the Semi-Final. Christopher ‘Chippie’ Barrett came off the bench for the last ten minutes to play a key role in the win over Derry, while clubmate Micky McGlynn is the team physio. The Final takes place in Brewster Park in Enniskillen with an 8pm throw in

*Seniors*

Burt 2-6 CLG BnaG 2-10

This Seniors had to battle hard for victory on Saturday to maintain their winning start to the season in Burt. A superb team performance meant the lads ran out 4 point winners. Team: Caolan Bolton, Cormac Friel, Barry McNulty, Conor McNulty, Anthony McPaul, TJ Evesson, Enda McHugh (0-1), Lorcan Friel, Anthony Fisher, Pauric Curley (0-2), Chippy Barrett (0-1), James Doyle, Paddy Peoples, Cathal McGettigan (2-6), David Curley. Subs: Darragh Blach for Fisher (20m), Paul Grier for C. McNulty (55m), Kevin McGee

*Reserves*

Burt 0-6 LG BnaG 0-8

The Reserves went in level at half time 3 points a piece when they felt they really should have been further ahead when they had the breeze at their backs, with Kevin McGee and Kieran Gorman played very well together in midfield. However, playing into the breeze didn’t seem to faze them, with Gary Helferty pulling the strings from half forward, and Hugh Mc Menamin and Dean Burgess also playing good stuff, the boys kept possession well to run victorious again to seal their second win in two games. Scorers: Caolan Mc Gettigan (0-3), Hugh McMenamin (0-1), Gary Helferty (0-2), Ciaran McHugh (0-1), Conall McFadden (0-1)

*Ladies Senior Gaeltacht Championship*

Glenfin 4-11 Milford 2-10.

The scoreline doesn’t accurately reflect how close this game was as the ladies team came up against senior opposition for the first time and going by this match they won’t look out of place when they eventually make the step up to senior level. There might have been seven points in it in the end but the fact that there was only three scores between the teams tells how evenly matched they were. Unfortunately for Milford, Glenfin managed to take their goal opportunities when the chances were there and this was the difference in the end. The teams were level at half time and at times in the first half a neutral observer might have found it hard to identify which team were in fact senior and which were intermediate. Glenfins greater experience started to tell in the second half as the Milford girls tired and they got the couple of goals which gave them the cushion needed to hang on until the end. Milford can be very proud of their efforts against a team playing at a higher level and hopefully this performance can spur them on for the season ahead. They play Glenties at home next Sunday morning in the intermediate league and all support would be greatly appreciated.
