Former Revs frontman Rory Gallagher is celebrating today - following the birth of his son Aiden Gallagher earlier this morning.
Gallagher is revered for penning the immortal Donegal GAA ballad 'Jimmy's Winning Matches'.
Gallagher originally from Kilcar, now lives and runs a hugely popular bar in Lanzarote - which is frequented regularly by those from Donegal out in the region on holiday.
The talented musician has yet to write a song about current Donegal GAA manager Rory Gallagher who is his namesake.
He'll have more pressing matters in the weeks and months ahead with little Aiden on his hands.
He posted his delight at the arrival of his son earlier on his Facebook timeline, "Proud daddy alert!
"Our son Aidan Gallagher. He is on the loose. Aidan Greig Thomas. 8lb 9oz . So much love."
