Are you sick of old scrap metal taking space up in your garage or shed?
Then the free metal collection service for the “Big Spring Clean” takes place at Rathmullan beach car park from 9am -6pm Saturday 13th of April.
All proceeds will go towards the Rathmullan Habitat for Humanity Group that are traveling to Malawi in August 2013.
The annual spring clean of Rathmullan beach and village has been organised in support of the nation-wide anti-litter campaign entitled ‘National Spring Clean’.
All types of metal are accepted free of charge at the collection point located in the beach car-park where local Letterkenny business Green Vehicle Recycling will be offering the free scrap metal collection service.
Gerry of Green Vehicle Recycling said ”We are delighted to be involved in the event to encourage the upkeep of our local environment and support this great cause, Bring down your old metal household equipment, farm machinery and even old vehicles can be donated to the collection.”
