It is an event started just two years ago by then Mayor Cora Harvey – a women-only 5k with funds going to help charities.
Today Mayor Frank McBrearty got more than 400 runners under starters orders for today’s walk and run, taking place this year from the Finn Valley Centre.
The race began at 11am.
