*Seniors*

CLG BnaG 2-15 Urris 1-6

Milford made it 3 out of 3 with another great win against another recently relegated side in Urris. Milford were outstanding in the first 15 minutes, winning effectively every kick out and breaking ball from both ends to race 0-5 to 0-0 up despite playing against a strong breeze. A combination of Milford taking the foot off the pedal and Urris beginning to utilise the wind to their advantage Caused a resurgence in the Clonmany men. Urris got a goal with 10 minutes to go to half time and followed that up with a flurry of frees to go in half time 1-4 to 0-6 up. Milford answered back with a Chippie Barrett goal 5 minutes into the second half and from then on it was one way traffic. Milford began to dominate midfield again and ran out fairly comfortable in the end by 12 points. Things got worse for Urris late on when another Barrett goal was followed up by a red card being issued to an Urris corner forward. Another great team performance for Milford with David Curley highlighted for special praise from manager Nigel Black. Team: Caolan Bolton, Anthony McPaul (0-1), Barry McNulty, Cormac Friel, Sean Black (0-1), TJ Evesson, Enda McHugh, Anthony Fisher, Lorcan Friel, Pauric Curley (0-1), Chippie Barrett (2-2), James Doyle, Paddy Peoples, Cathal McGettigan (0-7), David Curley (0-3). Subs: Luke Barrett for Doyle (45m), Darragh Black for Evesson (50m), Jamie Heena for C. Friel (55m), Brandon Toye for McHugh (58m)

*Ladies Intermediate League*

Milford 2-21 Glenties 1-5

The ladies team made it two out of two in the league with this comprehensive win over Glenties last Sunday. Milford played against the wind in the first half and after ten minutes were three points to one ahead. For the remainder of the half it was all Glenties as they made full use of the wind and at half time they led 1-4 to three points. Milford were first out of the blocks on the resumption of the game but the point was cancelled out straight away by Glenties to maintain their four point lead. From then on it was all Milford as the girls knocked over point after point with Lianne Boyce and Rachael Coyle especially to the fore. Goals from Orla Harrisson and Rachael Coyle made sure of the result and were the icing on the cake to cap off a great team performance which was full of hard work and a great display of point scoring. Best for Milford were Aoife Gallagher, Lianne Boyce and Rachael Coyle but player of the match goes to Katie McAteer who was making her league debut for the senior team and gave a masterful display at wing back especially in the first half against the wind..
