BUSINESSMAN Danny Lafferty today thanked the people of Creeslough for rallying around in a bid to save up to 40 jobs.
His shops and pubs will stay in examinership for another 30 days whilst efforts continue to rescue them.
Mr Lafferty is selling off property at an auction later this month.
There are also two potential investors in the business.
Two months ago hundreds of people attended a public rally after the businesses were threatened with closure.
“Turnover is up and that is thanks to the local people,” said Mr Lafferty.
“We are very hopeful now – things are definitely looking better and we now have a great chance of continuing once the examinership is over. I just want to thank everyone for their wonderful support.”
