Well done to all the winners and thanks to everyone for their continued support. This will go towards the development of our facilities at Pairc na Rosann.
Our minor team has done the entire club and community proud again with a battling performance against Gweedore in the county league semi final held last Friday night in Glenties, trailing by 3 points at full time they scored a goal to level the game and brought the contest into injury time where they proved too strong for our near neighbours.
They now play St Eunan’s this Friday with a venue to be decided.
Dungloe ladies earned a good away point in kilcar last Sunday.
Coming from being 2-3 to 1 point down playing with the elements the girls put in a strong second half show and a second goal by substitute Fiona Sweeney gave them a one point lead heading into injury time, however kilcar came back with an equaliser to level the game at the final whistle.
A great team performance from all the ladies. The ladies have two league games left v Glenties and Four Masters at home and the draw for championship due this week.
Anyone interested in applying for the Donegal v Tyrone game will have to make their application in person in the Rosses Community School on Saturday 11th May between 8pm and 9pm. Also the GAA monthly Club meeting will be held in the RCS on Monday the 13th at 8.30pm
Both senior and reserves were in league action at home to Sean Mac Cumhaill where the seniors drew their match on a low scoring affair.
The final score was An Clochan Liath 0-6 Sean Mac Cumhaill 0-6, best for Dungloe were Martin Redmond, Corey Gallagher, Noel McBride & Mark Clerkin.
The reserves claimed all two point winning on a scoreline of An Clochan liath 1-14 Sean Mac Cumhaill 0-12. Best for Dungloe were Robert Wehrley and James Boyle.
