As the building of the additional changing rooms (which will cater for more underage and ladies changing facilities) starts off this week, there is a call for help of any kind to finish off work on the ground-works and foundations.

Michael Mc Fadden and several who have volunteered this week will be at the Banks from 8am each day. A good response this week would leave the changing rooms ready for block-laying next week and that would be an outstanding piece of work.

They need help in General labouring to make sure that the early pace of the works is kept on track. If anyone can give a day or a few please contact Michael on 087-2925544.

All works with the erecting of the new and International standards floodlights together with the additional changing rooms will be carried out with Volunteer labour and the response so far has been huge.

The U14s put in a good performance in the Banks on Friday where they played Bundoran in division 1 of the league. The visitors took the points in an entertaining game. They travel to Ballyshannon this Wednesday to take on Aodh Ruadh.

The U12’s will play a challenge match against Termon in the Banks on Wednesday at 7pm. Please come out and support the young boys.

G4G Enters week 4 on Monday 6th May from 5-6pm. Things are progressing along nicely and we still have 74 girls working well with their coaches and parent helpers.

The under 16 girls defeated Naomh Conaill in their final game in their group and it takes them through to the county semi-finals. The draw for which will be made this week.

We are now taking names from anyone who would like to be trained up as a coach with Peil na mBan. A course will be organised as soon as we can get Tutors to do the course. Anyone interested please contact Dónal Ó’Searcaigh.

Ba mhaith le Naomh Muire a mbuíochas a chuir in iúl do Theach Tabhairne Ó Searcaigh in Anagaire, Busanna John Anne Ó Domhnaill i Rann na Feirste agus Hugh Ó Cnaimhsí ó Mara Media as a n-urraíocht fláithiúil i mbliana.
