CASEY MORGAN: ‘EXTREMELY VIOLENT’ – SAYS PSNI

A VIOLENT burglar described by police as a ‘dangerous high risk offender’ has returned to west Donegal just hours after his rapist friend handed himself in.

Thug Casey Morgan, 18, and pictured right has set up home back in a caravan in Burtonport.

The news came just a few hours after on the run rapist Joe McCabe, 29, walked into a police station in Derry.

McCabe had breached the conditions of his release from prison after serving half of a 14-year sentence for raping a 64-year-old woman.

There is also a licence recall order out for the arrest of Morgan and the PSNI said this week that he “poses a high risk of causing serious harm” to others.

He has been missing in contravention of his licence conditions since mid-March.

Residents in Burtonport and Dungloe have learned of this latest development in the last few hours.

And one of them told Donegal Daily: “I know this sounds crazy but I’m more afraid of Morgan than I was of McCabe.

“He was supposed to have gone to Dublin but he was walking around Burtonport again on Tuesday evening with a woman with him.

“He’s back in the caravan and I’d say he’s either very brave and violent as the PSNI have said or he is very stupid because there are a lot of very unhappy people around here and anything could happen.”

McCabe meanwhile was being questioned by the PSNI last night and could be returned to prison to serve more of his sentence.
