GAA: ST NAUL’S GAA CLUB NEWS – SENIOR LADIES WIN AGAIN

St Naul's GAANaomh Naille Club Notes

Slotto: There was no winner of this week’s jackpot. Numbers drawn were 6 5 2 7 3 4 1. The consolation prize of €80 went to John Sheerin, Mountcharles. Next week’s Jackpot will be €1280. Slotto Rota: The rota for this week is Stephen Griffin & Andrew Gallagher – Mountcharles & O Neills, Paul McGroarty & Mark Ward – Inver & Frosses. The draw will take place in the Shamrock Bar.

Donegal v Tyrone: Last few days for orders for tickets for Donegal v Tyrone game to be made through club mobile no. 0877034777. All orders to be made before or on May 16th. No orders will be taken after this date. Only one ticket per member can be ordered, and as there is a limited supply we cannot guarantee each member a ticket. Only members of Naomh Naille GAA club may apply. The draw for the tickets will take place in the club house this Sunday 19th directly after the senior match. So come out and support your club first against Red Hughs and then you will be there for the draw afterwards also.

The club is also holding a raffle ticket draw; tickets are now on sale at €3 per ticket or a book of 4 for €10. The 1st prize is 2 tickets to the Donegal v Tyrone Game & an overnight stay in the Villa Rose, 2nd prise is a meal for 2 in the Village Tavern, 3rd prize is a Voucher for All Sports. This draw will take place in the clubhouse on Thursday 24th at 8pm. Please contact Cieran 0872450505 for further details.

Courses: The defibrillator course will take place this Saturday 18th in the club house from 9am to aprox. 3pm. This course is compulsory for all managers & coaches, who have not yet done a defibrillator course.

Games: The U14s had a great victory over dungloe last Wednesday evening from being well behind at half time they showed great fighting spirit in the 2nd half coming back out, working as a team and never giving up to win well in the end. All players showed some great displays of football. Well done boys!

The U10s had a great evening of football down at the pitch on Thursday evening, well done to all the boys and girls and their coaches. Brian would like to thank all the people that helped out in anyway the refs, people who made food and helped in the kitchen. The U10’s will play Four masters this Thursday evening at 6.30.

The Senior Ladies had another great victory at home on Sunday, beating Buncrana 5.12 to 0.5. The girls have a great team spirit and are worth coming out to support. Game for this weekend is yet to be confirmed. Training this Tuesday will be in Frosses ladies to rest the pitch after a busy weekend.

The Reserve men also had a great win on Sunday at home to Carndonagh which is a great start to the championship for them so keep it up lads.

The senior men drew there match against Carndonagh. St Nauls lead 1.9 to 0.9 after the 60 minutes where up but injury time seen Carndonagh get 2 goals leaving St. Nauls 1 goal behind but a penalty taken by Stephen Griffin seen the boys finish off with a draw. They will need to pull their socks up now and make sure of a win next time round as the game is never over to the final whistle. Good luck to both Seniors and reserves this weekend against Red Hughs at home, Reserves at 1.30pm and Seniors at 3pm. All support and help in the new kitchen is greatly appreciated.
