DONEGAL TD Pearse Doherty has sent a picture of dirty mains water first revealed on Donegal Daily to Environment Minister Phil Hogan.
The Sinn Fein politician said he was horrified when he saw our exclusive story at the weekend.
Siobhan Kelly, from the Castlefin Road in Lifford, has had to put up with water like this for the past six years.
“It’s a disgrace in this day and age that anyone should have to put up with this,” said Deputy Doherty.
“When I saw the picture on Donegal Daily I couldn’t believe it. Families have a basic right to clean water.
“So I sent it to Phil Hogan to see what he thinks.”
