It looks like the organisers of Donegal’s Relay for Life have had their prayers answered on the weather front.
The forecast says today and tomorrow are expected to stay dry with sunny periods.
Organisers are keeping their fingers crossed for a repeat of last year’s sunshine which set the stall out for what proved a truly remarkable day.
But in many ways there has been even more hype about this weekend’s event at the LYIT.
And organisers say it promises to be even bigger that last year’s event.
Some registration takes place this afternoon but the official opening ceremony will not take place until 5.30pm.
We will bring you all the pictures and the news from the event both today and tomorrow.
