DONEGAL’S hurlers are through to another All-Ireland Final after a fine win over Monaghan at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny today.
They will play Roscommon in the final at Croke Park in two weeks’ time after the Rossies overcame Tyrone in the other semi-final on Saturday.
Lee Henderson was Donegal’s hero as they claimed a 5-12 to 2-9 win over their fellow Ulstermen.
The Sean MacCumhaills clubman came back from injury and hit 2-03 after coming on in the second half. And it was a game-changer,
Monaghan had led by 2-05 to 1-05 at half-time.
But Donegal worked hard and with Henderson in top form, they overtook Monaghan with a combination of fine scoring up front and some good defensive work, limiting Monaghan to just four points in the second half.
Roscommon beat Tyrone 3-28 to 0-14 at Athleague.
