Donegal Ice Road Trekkers

Three intrepid explorers have revealed they have raised a superb €29,622.51 from their amazing adventure.

The Ice Road Trekkers traveled to some of the coldest places on earth to raise the cash for three local charities.

The lads want to say a huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and/or gave a donation as without them this wouldn’t have been possible.

“We set out with the intention of raising money from local people for local charities and to raise €29,622.51 is fantastic so once more – thank you,” said Paul Doherty.

Rumour has it the logistics are already being put into place for the three Local Trekkers to drive another one of the Worlds Most Dangerous Roads in Bolivia where the temperature averages at +36degrees rather than -36degrees like it is inside the Arctic Circle!

The lads presented a cheque each to the local charity that meant the most to them individually.
