International popstar ‘Whigfield’ who is best known for her 90′s dance classic “Saturday Night” has shared the music of the St.Crona’s marching band Dungloe after hearing their version of her other hit song “sexy eyes”.
The singer shared the band’s version of her song to her followers on Facebook and Twitter and wrote “Woke up to Irish version of “sexy eyes” very sweet 
.
The Dungloe band played her song “Sexy Eyes” for many years, and is still frequently coined ‘the signature tune’ of the band. 
The Dungloe Band are having a reunion this August consisting of past members from 1972 to 2012 and, in addition, Whigfield posted on the Dungloe Junior Band’s ‘sister Facebook page’ which read,
“Hi Guys, Just wanted to wish you all the best for your reunion this August. Hope you’ll have a wonderful day. Hugs”
The band are delighted and this is a prime example of how the internet has made such communication possible.
The song was always a firm favourite of the people of Dungloe and further afield, and was part of many victorious moments for the band in competition history.
The band appreciate Whigfield taking the time to wish them well on Facebook and hope to have a successful reunion this August 4th at the Mary from Dungloe festival.
