THE glorious weather that has bathed Donegal in seering sunshine over the last few days is expected to continue.
And forecasters are predicting the good weather will continue for another six days at least, with temperatures hitting up to 26 degrees in some parts of Ireland.
Letterkenny is expected to see temperatures continue with highs of 21-22 degrees.
But sun worshippers are advised to wear high factor sun cream to protec their skin from the sun’s hot rays.
Tomorrow is expected to bring another beautiful day across the county with tempatures of between 18 -22 C being forecast in different parts of Donegal.
The weather will come as a major boost to the tourism industry in the county after a miserable spring did little to attract visitors.
The weather was terrible during that period and the tourism industry suffered hugely as a result.
They will be hoping that Donegal continues to experience lengthy spells of sunshine throughout the remainder of the summer.
