TEENAGE singing sensation Joe Boyle was crowned king of the crooners at an All Ireland competition last weekend.
The 17-year-old Letterkenny country singer beat off 30 acts to lift the title of Start Factor Ireland winner.
The competition was held on Sunday, June 2 at th Fairways Hotel in Dundalk, Co Louth.
Said proud mum Ann Marie Boyle: “Joe was representing Donegal.
“There was 30 acts in the final and I’m pleased and proud to say Joe was the winner.
“He loves singing American Country music and his idols are Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash, Randy Travis, Tracy Atkins.”
Joe has already won a competition in Portugal last year with Enjoy Travel Company. He will be singing with them in the Diamond Coast Hotel in Sligo.
Add his mum: “He will also be taking part in the Country Jamboree in the Clanree Hotel this July.
“He has also performed in Josie’s Country Tavern, The Station House Hotel and Harvey’s Point Hotel.
