VIEWPOINT:
Dear Donegal Daily,
This week marks the 40th anniverary of Ireland’s accession to Europe, 40 years of collusion and deception by Brussels and past and present government.
When our parents and grand parents voted in 1972 to join Europe they were not informed by the Government of that time that 40 years later we would have a hand picked Treaty nor were they informed that certain Derogations were set in the treaty to deceive us of our treaty rights such as Article 14 and that the free movement of goods would never come into affect as was laid out under Article 39.
Under article 25 customs duties were to be abolished but 40 years later we are still paying a prohibited tax.
From this date the Members of the Irish Drivers Association will drop the title address of Taoiseach to the elected leader of the Republic of Ireland. We will also drop the title of minister for finance and all elected persons that fail to implement the treaty of Rome to the full.
From this date they will only be addressed by christen name and surname.
We will also drop the title of judge to the person who convicts any citizen of 26 county Ireland on customs duty’s/ Vrt.
When we extend our vote it’s supposed to be a Government of the people by the people and for the people not a Government turned criminal on on the people.
As Enda Kenny now takes up position as president of the European Union will he implement the terms of the 1972 European Community’s Act.
Will he keep the promise he made to the Irish Drivers association in his office in Mayo prior to been elected.??
JOHN DOHERTY
