Well-known Letterkenny athlete Kevin Holian won today’s Sligo to Letterkenny cycle race.
A large number of more than 200 cyclists turned up for the event which is now in its 22nd year.
Among those at the starting line once more was Jim Barker from Rathmullan who has competed in every race.
Organiser Paddy Delap said he was delighted by the turn-out for the annual event which has now raised more than €500,000 for cancer research.
