Donegal based company Uppiddee is happy to announce that they have become a Microsoft BizSpark Plus Partner, an extension of the Microsoft BizSpark Program for Startups.  UppiddeeMicrosoft BizSpark extends special offers to help top startups grow their businesses. These offers are available to startups who are members or alumni of an Accelerator Program.

Uppiddee will avail of the Windows Azure $60K offer which helps cover cloud computing costs by providing up to $60K worth of Windows Azure hosting over two years.

In addition Uppiddee will receive other premium software and services, and a chance to develop a relationship with one of the world’s largest technology companies.

Donegal Daily met up and spoke to Founder David O’Neill and some of the team who are busy working on the first release of the software platform in Ireland and the U.K this September.

Uppiddee founder David O’Neill told us: ”We are delighted to be part of Microsofts Biz Spark plus program. The support available is fantastic and it is a great boost for us.”

Uppiddee is developing next generation software for supporting employees in medium to large enterprises.

The product has been in development for 16 months, most of that time was spent researching and testing the concept and technology.

The startup is based at the CoLab in Letterkenny and is now attracting attention from large corporates in Ireland, the U.K and U.S

David explained: ”The basic premise of our supporting people approach is that accurate people management decisions are the most important and impactful decisions that a firm can make.”

“You simply can’t produce superior business results unless your managers are making accurate people management decisions.”

“A fresh approach to people management is necessary because innovations come from people, and you simply can’t maximize innovations unless you are capable of empowering and retaining innovators.”
