The Raphoe Walking Group meets every Thursday at 10.30am in the Family Resource Centre. Everyone Welcome. This is a brilliant opportunity to get fit (ter) and meet new people in your Community.

OAKFIELD PARK

To celebrate the fantastic weather we’re having right now, Thomas, the train at Oakfield Park will be running every Wed, Thurs & Fri at 3pm, in addition to his regular runs all day on Saturday & Sundays. The Gardens are open as usual – Wed to Sunday from 12 to 6pm.

Pack a picnic and take advantage of the sunny weather & school holidays and bring the family along to this gorgeous local facility right on your doorstep.

RAPHOE BOXING CLUB

A very sincere thanks goes to Martin Laird and all his workforce at the Raphoe Tidy Towns for all the great work that they do inside and outside the boxing clubhouse as it is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations goes to boxing club coach Gary Mc Cullagh and his wife Aileen on the birth of their baby son last week.

Best wishes for every success goes to Convoy’s Bryan Mc Namee and Letterkenny’s Brian Elliot who will be representing Ireland at the forthcoming European Schoolboy Championships to be staged in the City West Dublin from 28th July to 4th August. Good luck lads from all at the Raphoe club.

More details of the club’s 25th anniversary to be staged in Jackson’s Hotel Ballybofey on Saturday 16th November will appear in the local press in the coming weeks.
