Congratulations are also extended to Michael Boyce on recording his first ever hole-in-one during his round in the Golf Shop sponsored competition of Saturday last. Michael scored his “ace” at the 13th in Barnhill with his trusty 5 iron.
Team News:
The club’s Junior Scratch team will play the first leg of their semi-final match at home in Letterkenny against North-West Golf Club on Monday 29th at 4pm. All support for the club team welcome.
The club had 23 juniors that travelled to Dunfanaghy on Friday last to play in the Donegal Junior Boys and they performed so well that some were able to take trophies home. The most important thing they got was the experience of taking part in this great event, Thanks to all the boys who travelled and you were a great credit to the club both in your performance, responsibility and golf etiquette. Also, we had a great effort by our Fred Daly team who did their best but lost out to a very good and experienced Belvoir Park youth team, but every congratulations on reaching the quarter final. The juniors will be having golf on Sunday evening and on Monday of next week as usual.
