Donegal County Council will meet today in the hope of finalising a budget for the year ahead.
The council must strike a deal today with tomorrow’s deadline for such an agreement looming fast.
The Budget for 2013 outlines revenue spending of €133 million which is down more than €15 million last year.
Last month the council had a marathon meeting but could not agree on a number of issues including house maintenance and the proposal of a €100 rent increase on social housing.
