Donegal have been drawn to face Mayo in a repeat of last years All Ireland Final. The meeting between the pair will take place at Croke Park next Bank holiday weekend.
Donegal responded in great fashion this evening defeating Laois by 6 points following their Ulster Final defeat to Monaghan last weekend.
They showed tremendous character and resolve to lift themselves so quickly after the crushing defeat against the men from the Farney county.
The game was always going to be tricky and the 6 day turnaround has always been a thorn for provincial losers.
But Donegal showed their bottle and reiterated to everyone that they are still genuine All-Ireland contenders despite last weekends defeat to Monaghan.
They will travel to Croke park confident as they try to win back to back All-Ireland titles something which has only been done twice in the last 20 years. (Cork 89,90) (Kerry 06,07)
