There was delight amongst staff, parents and former board of management with the news that Naílann Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore Community Créche) has been officially saved from closure and is now in the hands of the community and Muintearas. 
The news is a fantastic result for the families of the area and for all the workers, parents and all those in our community who fought to save this vital service in our area.
Micheál Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig spokesperson for the parents said,
“It is clear proof of how great things can be achieved when a community pulls together.”
