(report from Naomh Ultan) Naomh Ultan 3-7 Kilcar 3-6
In yet another nail biting affair the boys and girls prevailed when all looked as if it was lost. They trailed at half time on a score line of 1-3 to 1-4 with the immense Kyle Breslin getting all of our scores bar one which came from the ever present Jason Dobbyn.
In the second half Kyle Breslin netted again as did Jonathan Bach both finishing with style, but this still left them trailing. Dylan Henry kicked a free and then star man Jason Dobbyn kicked three on the go, firstly a 45, secondly a score from play to level matters and lastly in the dying seconds of the fixture, in similar fashion to Towney just over a week ago, but to the shear delight of the support, players and management, this kick was to win it!
Congratulations to all involved, the boys and girls who have trained hard and played even harder throughout the season, to the management team of Colm Shovlin and Dermot Alvey accompanied by their numerous mentors and lastly to all who came to show their support on a wonderful evening in Pairc Naomh Ultan. This adds furthermore to what has been a great year of underage football in the club!
