DONEGAL’S minor hurlers are through to the B Championship all-Ireland semi-final after victory by the narrowest of margins in Letterkenny today.
The boys saw off favourites Roscommon by a single point in a closely fought encounter.
Donegal have Eddie Lynch to thank for some excellent free taking; he hit six of his county’s nine points in the match – Donegal winning 0-09 to 0-08, with Roscommon missing several late chances to force extra time.
Donegal will now meet Westmeath in the semi-final – with an All-Ireland final at stake.
Meath will play Kerry in the other semi-final.
Anyone for Donegal v Kerry in an All-Ireland final?
