Naomh Muire host old foes Dungloe this Sunday in the Banks in what promises to be a fiery clash between the pair in what is a crunch match in the All-County Division Two League.
Naomh Muire go into this match on the back of a stunning run of form having won their last four matches in league and championship.
It’s been a sensational turnaround in form following the crushing championship defeat they suffered in the first leg against Fanad Gaels in the Banks.
Since that encounter Naomh Muire have put Fanad to the sword twice in convincing fashion to book their place in the Intermediate championship semi-final.
They have also earned impressive wins over Glenfin at home and Buncrana away to put themselves back in the promotion hunt.
Dungloe come in to this clash quietly confident after also picking up some encouraging results.
While they had a disappointing championship campaign which seen them finish bottom of the group, they have responded emphatically securing their senior status after an impressive win over Cloughaneely. 
They also defeated Bundoran comfortably in the league, but the Rosses men were defeated last week by a strong Glenswilly side.
Dungloe are one point ahead of their neighbours and Sunday’s clash should be a cracker.
Naomh Muire have been boosted by the introduction of their minor stars into the squad, with Hugh Boyle, Jack O’Brien and Patrick Gillespie all playing pivotal roles of late.
While the return of Paul “the yank” Boyle from injury has added another dimension to Naomh Muire’s game.
The locals at the banks will be hoping that “big red” can put in a big performance and help them get two vital league points.
Dungloe will look to the usual suspects of Adrian and Raymond Sweeney as well as County panelist Adrian Hanlon and influential captain Noel McBride for inspiration.
