This week Donegal Daily’s Fitness Columnist Emmet Rushe, owner and operator of Rushe Fitness, shows us what 2,000 calories looks like… and it’s quite eye-opening.
“I don’t eat a lot, why can’t I lose weight!”
I have heard this question numerous times over the last few years and every time I give an answer as to why this is, it never really seems to hit home to the person on the receiving end.
Over the last few articles, I have spoken about calories and how they are the main decider of weight loss, weight maintenance or weight gain.
Even with all the information, I am still getting questions like the one above.
With that in mind, I set out to show everyone in a simple video as to why the AMOUNT of food you eat doesn’t matter, it’s the AMOUNT of calories within the food you are eating that really matters.
With that being said, please take a few minutes to watch the video below and let me know your thoughts on it.
