Killybegs native Seamus Coleman has been selected to play in tomorrow night’s crunch World Cup Qualifier against Sweden at the Aviva Stadium.
Coleman is now a key member of Giovanni Trapattoni’s side and is an established member of the side.
Ireland will be hoping he can continue to provide an attacking threat like he has done recently for both Club and Country while also helping to stem the threat poised by Sweden.
Coleman will be joined by James McCarthy in the starting XI.
McCarthy recently joined Coleman at Everton after transferring to the club on deadline day for a cool £12 million pounds.
McCarthy qualifies to play for Ireland through his Grandfather Paddy Coyle who hails from the Rosses area in Donegal.
Richard Dunne also makes his return to the International fold after a lengthy absence through injury.
Ireland XI to face Sweden in World Cup 2014 European qualifying Group C: D Forde; S Coleman, R Dunne, J O’Shea, M Wilson; J Walters, G Whelan, J McCarthy, J McClean; S Long, R Keane.
