The eagerly awaited senior championship quarter finals will take place this coming week-end. No doubt the pick of the games will be the Glenswilly men taking to the field against Kilcar. The meeting takes place in McCumhaill Park Ballybofey on Sunday 15th of September with the throw-in at 2.30. We urge the Glen supporters to turn out in huge numbers and positively cheers our lads on and help them to get over the line. Gary McDaid and his back room staff along with the team have invested a lot of time and energy in preparation to represent the club and parish and deserve all the support and help we can give them. So, we wish them all the best for Sunday and hope they achieve their goal.

The Glenswilly U-16 team will face St Eunans in O’Donnell park on Tuesday evening the 10th of Sept. in the A championship. Throw in is at 6.45 pm and all support would be greatly appreciated. We wish the lads all the best.

A date to keep in your diary is October 27th because this is the date for the “Battle of the Swilly”. The white collar boxing event between Glenswilly GAA club and Letterkenny Golf club will take place in the Silver Tassie . Both side are now training hard under the guidance of Danny Ryan and are gearing up to what will be a challenge of big ball verses small. A night not to be missed.

The club house and hall are heavily booked up from September with drama on Tuesdays 5 to 7.45 pm, music Tuesday and Friday, whist in kitchen area on Thursday and yoga on Friday mornings, so, if anyone needs to use any of the facilities, you will have to contact any hall committee member in good time in order to be accommodated.
