A walker has been airlifted to safety after becoming injured on Errigal today.
The alert was raised after 5pm, when Donegal Mountain Rescue volunteers were tasked to find a female walker.
The Rescue 118 helicopter was then called to assist the operation.
The woman was successfully located and placed on board the helicopter shortly after 6.30pm. The extent of her injuries is not yet known.
The DMR team has been stood down.
