Finn Harps stars Kevin McHugh and James Doherty have taken their first steps in to management when it was announced the duo would take charge of the Donegal Schoolboys U12 side for the forthcoming season.
McHugh scored for Harps
Club captain and Finn Harps legend McHugh has previously managed underage sides in Killea while Doherty has been coaching underage sides in Kilmacrennan for the last couple of years.
The move has been seen as a great appointment by the Donegal Schoolboys league and seen as a step forward to lure two players currently playing in the League of Ireland football to develop the best talent in the county.
The duo will hopefully inspire the next generation of Donegal footballers and provide them with the correct platform to improve and develop as players as they prepare for next year’s Kennedy Cup competition.
