Lotto & 100+ Club
There was no jackpot winning sequence in this weeks Lotto draw but Alma Curran, Letterkenny won €30 on the Lucky Dip.
Numbers drawn were 2,5,1,8,6,4,7,3. Next weeks Lotto jackpot is €3,000. The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 28th September – Samuel Patterson, 5th October – Liam Kelly, 12th October – Paul Bradley and 19th October – Kieran Bradley.
The winner of the 100+ Club draw this week was Barry Doherty, The Garrison who wins €100. Thanks to all for their continued support of the weekly Lotto & 100+ Club.
Seniors and Reserves
Both the seniors and reserves are fixed to play Naomh Brid in Ballintra this Saturday 28th September.
Reserve game fixed for 4.45pm with the senior at 6.00pm. Keep an eye on local press and club Facebook page for any updates. All come out and support our teams.
U21 Championship
Well done to the U21 team on their victory over Naomh Columba in Donegal Town on Saturday last.
They lead the whole way through leading by 0-5 to 0-2 at half time. Despite a strong effort from N Columba in the second half the lads dug deep to come out with a good victory on a scoreline of 0-9 to 0-8.
They now progress to the county semi-final – details of this fixture have not yet been confirmed.
Minor Board
The underage training for U6-U10 boys and girls will start back again on Saturday 6th of October.
U12 girls training on this Saturday morning from 11am-12 Noon.
Red Hughs Golf Classic
The winners of the Red Hughs Golf Classic held on Saturday last was the team of Barry Allen, Sean Duffy, Mike Kelly & William Laird. Winner of the Longest Drive: Rhonda Russell (Ladies), Oliver Boyle (Gents); Nearest the Pin: Sheila Breen (Ladies), Brendan McDermott (Gents).
Well done and thanks to all the players. The club would like to thank the Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club for hosting this event, thanks to Karen, Mary, Cathal and staff, to JW McNulty, Marty Carlin and Collette Callaghan, to main sponsor Killygordon Animal Health and all our sponsors.
Thanks to Danny Sweeney for the music at the presentations and well done to all in the club committee who helped in the organisation of the event.
Airtricity Meentycat Walk
The club will be taking part in the Meentycat Sponsored 15k Walk again this year which takes place this Saturday 28th September.
Sponsorship cards are still available from Liam Doherty (087) 6478122 or any member of executive.
Walk starts at 9.30am and the last walker needs to depart by 12.00 Noon. All are welcome to take part and support the club.
