The body of Loughanure teenager Conor Boyle, 18, who died on Friday last, has finally been released to the family.
A huge crowd is expected for the much-loved teenager’s funeral on Sunday next.
Conor died despite a brave two week fight for life after he crashed his car in London while returning home from work.
His body is due to be transferred to the family home at Loughanure on this Friday, September 27th leaving Mc Glynn’s funeral home in Dungloe at noon.
The house is on the link road from the N56 in Loughanure to Annagry and traffic delays can be expected as the funeral arrives in the village.
The family has asked for privacy at the house on the morning of the funeral from noon, and from 10.30pm on Friday to 10.00 am on Saturday and again on Sunday.
Conor, a son of Hugh and Sheila Boyle and the third eldest of six boys, will be laid to rest in Annagry cemetery on Sunday following 1pm Mass in Annagry Church.
Meanwhile the Intermediate Final scheduled for this Sunday between Naomh Muire and St Nauls has been postponed as a matter of respect to the Boyle family.
