Mulroy Winter Links
The Mulroy Links outing will be staged at the Rosapenna Golf resort on Saturday 23rd November and again will be staged on the Old Tom Morris course.
If for any reason you cannot play please, contact either Rosapenna or Portsalon golf clubs this will enable a member from the reserve list play.
The success of the competition will be down to the Mulroy Links members.
Gaeltacht League
The Portsalon experience in this season’s Gaeltacht League has been disrupted due to the adverse weather conditions.
To-date only one match has been played. Hopefully weather permitting we will travel to Dunfanaghy on Saturday 30th.Tee time will be confirmed later
Donegal Senior League
Portsalon team had the short journey to Rosapenna on Sunday morning last for the return leg of the senior league final.
Going into the return leg Rosapenna held a commanding lead with five matches to Portsalons two matches.
The Kingdom team put on a tremendous performance and failed to overturn the deficit by the narrowest margins.
The Captain Joe Harkin would like to congratulate Andy Boland and all who represented Portsalon in this year’s event.
Captain Joe Harkin would also like to congratulate Rosapenna Golf Club on a magnificent double as along with the Senior League title they also overcame Letterkenny on Saturday to win the Donegal over 50’s title.
Events
On Sunday 24th November it’s a members competition and on Wednesday270h November t’s a gent’s open competition.
A time sheet is in operation for all competitions contact 0749159459 or go online to portsalongolfclub. Good news for visitors to Portsalon Golf Club for the Wednesday open competitions with the visitor entry fee for the open competitions reduced to €15.

Singles Match Play
The final of the singles match play was staged on Sunday last. Contesting the final was Eamon Mc Dermott and Connor Crossan.
The match produced some excellent golf and went to the final green before Eamon Mc Dermott emerged victorious.
Results
The winner of the open competition played on Wednesday was 13th November was Brendan Roche (28) Rosapenna 33 points, runner up Gavin Mackey (26) 32 points.
The CSS was 34 non counting. On Saturday 16th the winner was James Duffy (20) 39 points, runner up Shuan Shields (14) 37 points, Gross Eamon mc Dermott (4) 29 points third Donal Callaghan (14) 35 points. The CSS was 34 points.

Winter Rules
Winter rules are now in place for in order to protect the surrounds of our greens during the Autumn and Winter months. Please refer to the notice prior to teeing off.
Locker Rooms
It has come to the attention that a number of golfers are leaving their clubs and trollies in the locker room.
Members should note that the locker rooms do not provide a secure lock up facilities for clubs or trollies and these should be removed.
Placing
Members and visitors should note that 6 inch placing on fairways only has been introduced a bit earlier than usual in order to allow the green staff carry out repairs to some of the fairways.

Divot Bags
Members and visitors please note that divot bags are now available on entry to the first tee box and should you forget there is another chance to pick up a bag on the second tee box. . Please ensure that you pick up a bag and assist with the course maintenance
