Gardaí are appealing for information after a sickening attack on Sunday evening which resulted in two teenagers being viciously attacked and robbed by a gang of up to 20 men. 
The vicious attack took place close to the green corner in the Glencar area of Letterkenny at 9.30pm on Sunday night.
The gang battered the two teenagers with batons and it is believed the gang also had machetes and swords at their disposal in an attack which has left two teenagers terrified.
The gang robbed the young victims wallets and took their bank cards.
One victim had a phone stolen which was believed to be worth €650.
The mother of the teenager who had his mobile phone robbed has said they have contacted Gardaí, but has stated her son has since been threatened and is considering retracting his statement to avoid further harm.
