CLG Chloich Cheann Fhaola held a recent Jigs & Reels event in order to raise funds for the club. 
The club recruited 20 local personalities (most of whom never danced before) to take part in the event (10 couples in total).
The night was a resounding success with a massive crowd in attendance to support and enjoy the wonderful entertainment provided by the talented dancing duo’s.

The club hired Carrigart native Natalie McGeever as their dance teacher and the dancers rehearsed their dance steps, group dances & couple dances for the last 8 weeks.
Tickets sold out completely a full week before the event, which was held in the Óstán Loch Altan in Gortahork. 
Charlie Gallagher, Niamh Learmont & Murt Collins judged the event while Enda McMonaghle was MC for the event.
The overall winners of the Jigs & Reels was awarded to Gerry Diver & Judy McGinley after a brilliant dance-off against Kevin Mulhern & Orla O’Grady!
Ashlene Doohan & Joseph Mangan were awarded the judges prize for their couple dance.
