Letterkenny Golf Club Ladies Notes
Immediate Past Lady Captain, Sandra McMonagle, ended her year in office with the AGM, taking the time to thank all those who had supported and helped her in any way.
She spoke about the exciting Centenary celebrations, congratulated the winners of all the major competitions and annual golfing awards, team achievements and club activities. Congratulations to Sandra on a job well done.
Catherine Cooke Harkin was installed as the new Lady Captain of Letterkenny Golf Club and we wish her success and enjoyment in her year ahead.
During the AGM, outgoing Competition Secretary Marian O’Sullivan, was given a standing ovation for her work throughout her years on committee, her golfing prowess and her dedication to the club.
In the ongoing competitions, the 22nd turkey was won by Triona Daly and runner up was Karen McGlinchey, our new Competition Secretary.
Karen intends bringing in some new competitions for the season ahead including a Stepaside Scramble and a Monthly Members 18 hole.
