PGA Tour Professional Shane Lowry visited Letterkenny Golf Club on Thursday. 
Shane took time out from his engagement to officially open the new Mc Gettigan’s Bar & Restaurant.
At the Clanree Hotel Lowry hit a few golf balls at the club and participated in a question and answer session.
Lowry also sampled the gourmet menu at the new Browns on the Green Restaurant in the clubhouse which is also open to the general public. 
Seamus Clinton, club PGA Professional who organised the visit, is pictured presenting Shane with a memento of his visit, and Donegal’s foremost diarist Gabrielle is pictured with lady member Cynthia Furey, also presenting Lowry with a copy of the club’s centenary book.
